okay..lets update on yesterday's flagday. =)
0830
im late! was to meet chia and jy at 8.20.but...haha
met them,walked to the crowded underpass,received a piece of paper from yi xin. collected my tin and stickers.waited for gwen and glad,annd off we went.
took 165 to hougang mall? yea.had breakfast at mac.took a train down back to orchard. walked to wheelock place.and we asked for donations on the way..but u noe.. so many other schools were doing it too.look at the crowd walking towards you and most of them already haf the stickers.
from wheelock,we walked down.towards taka's direction.
gwen and i were saying,if the people around here can afford to shop at taka,they will definitey be able to fork out ten cents for charity.saw some men puffing away, i told gwen: if they can afford ciggs,ten cents should be no probs.they donated of course.cos i said dat in front of them. =) haha
upon reaching cine,we decided to go down to great world! haha.again,we walked back to tangs,took a shuttle bus to great world.on the bus,i advertised for the singapore heart foundation! i sat by the window,placed the can by the window at did free advertising.ha
took a break at great world.my mom called and said dat nobody was selling flags at yck.so,we decided to go down.we caught a cab...on the way,the three of them were like calling lots of people,asking them to bring all their coins down to yck. they called all the way from great world to thompson. power eh..jiao you guang kuo! haha
gwen and i dropped at thompson,cos daryl was meeting us there.
he called gwen,told her he was grounded and we had to go take the coins from him.
we went up by the lift.stepping out,i took gwen's fone and called daryl.once somebody answered the fone,i asked, wads ur unit number? i tot the guy on the receiver was daryl..but it wasnt! cos,the voice was different.kinda deep.too deep. i passed the fone to gwen and told her dat the voice was too deep to be daryl's. she took over and to our astonishment..it wasnt daryl on the fone!! gosh....! we decided to wait at for him to call back.
we heard someone's voice.and that particular someone sounded like the person on the fone! gwen quickly shoved her donation can into my bag and we ran for the lift!
this senior citizen came to the lift..i tink gwen was having the same thoughts as me, cos,as we entered the lift we started to snigger? she had her big gulp..i had to face the wall to stop. we burst into laughter wen we came out.
in the end? guess wad?
that senior citizen was daryl's grandad and the person who answered the fone......
